Since 2010, XON Construction has been a trusted name in Perth's luxury house building and bespoke renovations, known for its quality, style and unparalleled craftsmanship. Our owner-builder, Jason Tincey, brings over 17 years of experience in the industry and holds a Bachelors Degree in Construction Management & Economics, Diploma of Building and Construction, Trade Carpenter and Passivhaus Trades Person Certifications. Jason’s expertise lies in solving complex challenges often encountered in older homes, making XON Construction a specialist in delivering high-quality renovations, extensions, and new builds with exceptional precision.

Our team collaborates with some of Perth’s leading interior designers and architects to create the exact home you’ve envisioned. Whether you have a clear idea or need inspiration, we’ll work closely with you to design a home that reflects your lifestyle, preferences, and budget.

How long will it take to start building once we sign with XON Construction?The timeline to begin construction depends on council regulations, required approvals, and the complexity of your design. Typically, the planning process takes between eight and twelve months, starting from our initial meeting to the commencement of building. During this time, we ensure every aspect of your project is carefully prepared for a smooth build.

How will we be kept up-to-date during the build?Communication is key at XON Construction. Owner-builder Jason Tincey will personally keep you informed via regular updates through phone, email, or text. We’re also implementing advanced project management software to provide real-time updates, ensuring you’re always in the loop with just a click.

What is a defect walk-through?Three months after you’ve moved into your new home, we conduct a defect walk-through to address any issues that may have arisen. This allows us to ensure everything meets your expectations and is functioning perfectly. As part of this service, we bring along a painter to complete any touch-ups that might be needed from the moving-in process.

What is your defects period?We offer a standard one-year defects period, but client satisfaction is our top priority. If any issues arise after this time, we’re flexible and committed to addressing your concerns promptly.

Do you provide free quotes?We provide a very broad initial cost estimate to review project feasibility. Following this we then introduce our early contractor involvement (ECI) agreement where we collaborated with the architect, engineer and other consults to get the best result for our clients and produce final build documents. This is a paid for service ranging from $4,000-$15,000 depending on the project.

What is your handover process?Our handover process is designed to be seamless. Together, we’ll complete a final walk-through of your home to address any questions you may have. At this stage, we’ll also provide you with supplier information and product warranties. Once everything is ready, it’s time to move in and start enjoying your dream home!

What should I bring to our first meeting?To make the most of our first meeting, please bring an estimated budget, an idea of what you’re after, and any design images or inspiration you have. The more details you provide, the better we can tailor our recommendations to suit your vision.

Do we really need a budget?Yes, having a budget is essential for determining what you want and can afford. It allows us to provide realistic options and tailor the project to meet your needs without exceeding your financial expectations.

Do you provide warranties?We offer a generous 10-year structural warranty, exceeding the industry standard of six years in Perth. This ensures peace of mind and confidence in the longevity of your new home.
