Perth Renovation: Federation-style
01. Brief
This cute inner-city Federation cottage was in need of a full makeover.
As the home needed to be completely gutted, the project demanded the very best in skilled designers & craftsmen.
With more than a decade of experience building character homes, we were able to create a design brief that was the perfect blend of style & functionality for our client.
02. Results
The interior and exterior of the house was completely transformed, providing all the convenience of contemporary living without losing any of its Federation charm.
Our renovation included a complete strip of asbestos wall cladding, cement roof tiles and interior plasterboard.
We then straightened the walls, insulated and recladded with a weatherboard exterior and gyprock interior. The ceiling space was insulated and the roof replaced with Colourbond.
Our team then built them a luxury ensuite, walk-in robe, master bedroom & bathroom, as well as a new open-plan kitchen and laundry.
For the final finishing touches, we added a new carport, front fence, gate, decking and entertaining area.
